Faster Shipping, Happier Antlions: Our New Regional Shipping

Big news from the packing table: we've overhauled how your antlions travel, and for most of the country they'll now arrive days faster.

Why we changed

Antlions are tough little predators — they can go weeks between meals, and they handle shipping remarkably well. But this year some postal routes to the West Coast and parts of the Midwest and Northeast slowed way down. A "2–3 day" package sometimes spent a week or more in transit, and that's harder on a live animal than it should be. Our live-arrival guarantee always made it right, but we'd rather your antlions simply arrive quick, healthy, and ready to dig.

What's new

Faraway orders now travel on guaranteed two- and three-day services (mostly UPS 2nd Day Air) instead of standard mail. Shipping is still one simple flat price — it just depends on your region now:

• Southeast (FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, SC, NC, LA): $10 — you're close to the farm, USPS gets there in 1–3 days.
• Central & Northeast: $15 — now UPS 2–3 day service.
• West (Rockies & Pacific): $20 — now UPS 2–3 day service.

You'll see your price at checkout as soon as you enter your address — no surprises, no rate calculators.

What hasn't changed

• We still hand-pack every order and ship early in the week (Monday–Wednesday) so no package ever sits in a depot over a weekend.
• We still hold shipments during dangerous heat or cold — we'll email you if your order is waiting out the weather.
• And every order is still covered by our live-arrival guarantee, full stop.

Faster boxes, healthier antlions, more digging. That's the whole idea.
