Message: My family is from Ky and they have a story if you get down and say Doodlebug your house is on fire, it will come out. Also had a cousin named Bug after the doodlebug. There must be some old folk tales spread thru the years in Ky.

Message: Aww man i had 3 before because i found them at my old school during break.There was lots of sand,I ended up having them for 2-6 days then I let them go.Thats why I want to win the contest.Because I dont live in areas with antlions anymore :(.

Message: I already knew about Ant-lions but none of my friends believed me because Ant-lions are vary rare here in England. So I just found this site and bought some Ant-lions. after they arrived I planted them a in A glass boll and invited my mates over, They were mesmerized by the little things and even more so after they feed them.Now they want me to breed the adult Ant-lions so they can have some..witch will only lead to the death of the poor little things.

Message: The ant lions are beyond belief! My ant lions made pits quickly and have eaten many ants and other insects. I purchased a set for my 4 year old nephew and he loves them, along with his 2 year old brother. They have fun finding insects to feed them!
I even gave a set to the local library and they set them up in the Children's Library Section. They are not seen anything like them. We do not have ant lions in New England, so they are a real treat to see and interact with. My lions toss sand at the ant to drive it down the pit to it's waiting jaws! Great Stuff!!

Message: My kids love their antlions. My daughter had been going through a phase and was scared of monsters in her room, now she thinks the antlions protect her and she isn't scared anymore.
